Professor, associate dean in School of Statistics and Mathematics, supervisor of master students in statistics, and master students in technical economy and management. Professor Song was born in November, 1962, graduated from Department of Planning and Statistics at Shandong Economic Univesity in 1985, and has been teaching in the same university since then. In the spring semester of 1986, professor Song was in Wuhan University to study Economic Forecasting and Decision Making with professor Wenquan Feng. He was promoted to full professor in 2003. He also worked with professor Xiaoqun He in spring semester of 2005 as an advanced visiting scholar.
For teaching, professor Song teaches undergraduate and graduate courses of Statistics, Statistics for Management in Industry, Economic Forecasting and Decision Making, Econometrics, Technical Economics, and so on.
For research, professor Song published more than 70 papers in journals of Statistical Research, Statistical Education, Shanghai Statistics, Shanxi Statistics, Statistics and Forecasting, and Statistics and Decision. He presided or participated more than 10 research projects, published 2 books. He is the editor or co-editor of more than 10 books. Professor Song got 3 awards in the level of provinces or national ministries of China for Excellent Research Achievements, one of which was second class, 2 of which was third class. He also got more than 20 awards in the level of ministries in provinces.
Research area: comprehensive review and econometrics.
Research characteristics: combinatio of accounting and statistics, using computer software in research of econometrics.
