Dean, member of communist party of China, professor, Ph.D. in economics, supervisor of master students in statistics. Dr. Zhang was born in 1957, he is one of the Leaders in Academic Subjects of Shandong Province, one of the first layer people in university 231 Project of Outstanding People. Dr. Zhang is a council member of The National Statistical Society of China, member of Editor Committee of Textbooks for Statistics, vice president of Shandong Applied Statistical Society, and vice president of Jinan Statistical Society, etc..
For his teaching experience, Professor Zhang teaches undergraduate courses of Principles of Statistics for Society and Economy, Statistics, Statistics for National Economy, Microeconomic Analysis, Statistical Analysis for Trading and Investing, Statistics for Business, etc.; he also teachesgraduate courses of Statistics for Business and Economics, Econometric Models and Economic Forecasts, Quantitative Analysis for Management, and so on.
Dr. Zhang's Research area is theoretical economics and statistical analysis. He has been the principle investigator or participator of more than 10 research projects. So far he published 7 books, 7 textbooks, and 64 academic papers, 28 of his research results and achievements got awards, 4 of which are from provinces or national government ministries in China in recent years. Dr. Zhang was also invited to attend the international conferences in statistics and report his research results for several times.
Professor Zhang was the receiver of the title of Shandong Outstanding Young Scholar in 1994. |
